Manual focus lens use Note
1. The camera must be set to M mode to make lens work. Some Nikon cameras may need set the camera menu: "no lens release" or "aperture priority" make work. There is an option in custom setting on the camera called " release without lens", which must be set to " on " in order for the camera to take pictures with manual lenses.
2. The aperture can adjustable, but camera doesn't display the aperture value.
3. No autofocus, no image stabilization,
Recommend using it with a tripod and remote control to keep the picture stable

However, it is assumed that much of the shooting with such a lens will be at its maximum f/8.0 aperture, with a tripod, monopod, or other such support.
